Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to be part of our practice in Pretoria. Your role will encompass diagnosing, treating, and performing surgical procedures on pets. You will also be responsible for educating pet owners on preventive health care, ensuring long-term wellness for their animals.

Responsibilities

• Assess animal patients and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Carry out surgical interventions and monitor recovery.
• Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners.
• Maintain veterinary equipment and facilities.
• Record patient histories and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians for complex cases.
• Conduct research to improve animal treatments and care methods.
• Participate in health education initiatives within the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Medicine is preferred

• 5+ years of experience in veterinary practice
