Industrial Engineer

Job Description

This role as an Industrial Engineer involves optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. You will be responsible for analyzing workflows, implementing improvements, and ensuring product quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, an understanding of Six Sigma methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Act as a liaison between engineering and production teams.
• Manage projects aimed at costs reduction and waste minimization.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in process engineering or improvement roles

Technical Skills

• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in data analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python: Hands-on experience in data analysis for improving manufacturing processes.
