Job Description

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be involved in designing and testing a wide range of mechanical components and systems. Ideal candidates should possess a deep understanding of engineering principles and be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to drive the development of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings.
• Evaluate and approve design modifications as necessary.
• Lead cross-functional teams in project initiatives.
• Be involved in cost estimation and analysis.
• Research and implement new engineering technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a related engineering role

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• Project Lifecycle Management

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC machining: Hands-on experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
• Experience with Robotics and Automation: Knowledge of robotic systems and automation in manufacturing.
