Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baling Machine Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of machines used in recycling. This position is essential for ensuring that materials are processed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Control and operate baling machines to ensure efficient operation.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshoot any machinery problems.
• Sort and manage incoming materials for baling.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety measures and recycling standards.
• Assist in training new staff on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Document and report production metrics and issues.
• Work collaboratively with the operations team to improve efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around the baling machines.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in recycling or waste management operations is a plus.
