Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the logistics process within our Port Elizabeth operations. This role is vital in streamlining supply chain activities and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement logistics strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Provide forecasts on inventory needs and logistics requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics operations.
• Conduct market research to identify new logistics technologies and practices.
• Ensure the proper handling of goods and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation for all shipments.
• Negotiate contracts with transport companies to secure advantageous rates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree
• Higher diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management

• SAP ERP
• Data Analysis Tools

Certifications

• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

Languages
