We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with blockchain technology and a passion for creating decentralized applications. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing blockchain solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage APIs for blockchain-based services.
• Conduct feasibility assessments for blockchain implementations.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Train junior developers in blockchain development best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Certification in Blockchain technology is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in blockchain or distributed ledger technology

Technical Skills

• Node.js
• Web3.js

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Communication skills

Certifications

• Certified Blockchain Developer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of token standards (ERC20, ERC721): Understanding of Ethereum token standards for functional DApps.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure): Familiarity with cloud services for hosting blockchain applications.
