Responsibilities

• Provide grooming services including nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
• Monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort and take appropriate action.
• Assist in managing the grooming area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
• Foster a positive and engaging experience for pets and their owners.
• Attend training sessions to enhance grooming skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal grooming training or certification

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in professional grooming environments

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Dog Behaviour Understanding

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Understanding of animal behaviour: Ability to assess and handle different temperaments of pets.
• Experience in customer service roles: Previous experience in customer-oriented positions is a plus.
