Job Description

We're seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions are vital in helping our clients maintain their independence while receiving the care they require.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities when necessary.
• Document and report any significant changes in client conditions to healthcare staff.
• Help clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
• Participate in training and development sessions as required.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Home Health Aide training program is preferred

Experience

• Experience in home care preferred but not mandatory

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Grooming Assistance

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with elderly care: Familiarity with the specific needs of elderly clients.
• Familiarity with mobility aids: Experience using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
