We are seeking a skilled Actuary to analyze and manage risks for our prestigious clients in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will leverage their mathematical and statistical skills to assess financial outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments and prepare financial forecasts.
• Analyze statistical data to determine insurance policy premiums.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriters to evaluate risk and set policy terms.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all actuarial processes.
• Assist in the development of new insurance products.
• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance team skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Master's degree or further specialization preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance actuarial roles
