Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Actuary to analyze and manage risks for our prestigious clients in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will leverage their mathematical and statistical skills to assess financial outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update actuarial databases for accurate reporting.
• Confer with stakeholders to discuss implications of risk analysis.
• Present findings to management to guide decision-making.
• Secure confidentiality and accuracy of client data.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting actuarial practices.
• Develop team goals and mentor junior actuaries.
• Facilitate workshops to improve team methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Master's degree or further specialization preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance actuarial roles

Certifications
