Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a firm grasp of mathematics and statistics, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. You will work closely with senior actuaries and financial analysts on designing, pricing, and valuing risk products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess risks associated with financial products.
• Utilizing software tools for data manipulation and analysis.
• Implementing regulatory compliance checks on financial products.
• Analyzing trends in data to inform pricing models.
• Contributing to research projects on actuarial methodologies.
• Providing insights on financial risk management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a relevant role in actuarial analysis or statistical modeling
