Join our Durban-based veterinary practice as a Veterinary Anesthesiologist. We are looking for an experienced professional to manage anesthesia for various surgical procedures and contribute to enhancing animal care standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient's health status prior to administering anesthesia.
• Provide anesthesia support during surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Conduct research to improve anesthesia techniques.
• Train and mentor junior staff and veterinary students.
• Respond to any anesthetic complications swiftly and efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
• Certification in Veterinary Anesthesia is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in veterinary anesthesia
