We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in George. The ideal candidate will have a dedication to animal care and possess the skills to provide excellent medical services, as well as strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of animal health issues.
• Perform routine and emergency surgeries with precision.
• Educate clients on pet nutrition, behavior, and general care.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care when required.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations and clinic policies.
• Mentor junior veterinary staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in a veterinary specialty preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years in clinical practice

• Veterinary anesthesia

Certifications

• Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture
• Fear Free Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent

• Experience with telemedicine consultations: Capable of providing virtual veterinary consultations.
