Construction Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee construction sites in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and facilitating communication between all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise construction personnel and vendors on site.
• Ensure that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure successful implementations.
• Conduct inspections and enforce quality assurance procedures.
• Implement corrective measures when necessary to maintain project timelines.
• Document progress and prepare site reports.
• Facilitate timely resolution of project-related issues.
• Support the Project Manager in administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree in Project Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in site supervision

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• PMP Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Construction Management Software: Experience using software to manage construction schedules and budgets.
