Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surveyor to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have experience in land surveying and a solid understanding of relevant regulations. You will be involved in various projects, ensuring the accurate measurement and mapping of land information while collaborating with our engineering and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze geographic data to inform design processes.
• Oversee fieldwork operations to ensure accuracy in measurements.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing survey findings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on industry standards.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines.
• Advise clients on land use policies and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant surveying experience

Technical Skills

• Advanced Surveying Tools

Certifications

• Professional Registered Surveyor (PRS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with 3D Laser Scanning: Knowledge in using 3D laser scanning technology for surveys.
• Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS): Experience in using GIS for spatial analysis.
