Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network and information security practices, and will be responsible for developing security protocols to protect our systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain security standards and best practices.
• Monitor network traffic and analyze vulnerabilities.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality across systems.
• Advise on security architecture design for new projects.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Coordinate responses to security breaches and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Evaluate and implement industry best practices for cybersecurity.
• Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Develop incident response plans and playbooks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
