Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist at Top Health Services, you’ll be at the forefront of patient care in Johannesburg. Your role will involve designing and administering therapeutic programs aimed at improving patients' mobility, self-care abilities, and overall well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document clients' needs and capabilities.
  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions for diverse conditions.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • Track patient progress and adapt programs to optimize outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients and caregivers.
  • Maintain a professional commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in health fairs and community outreach programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Some clinical experience preferred, particularly in rehabilitation settings.
