We are seeking a proactive Logistics Operations Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and extensive knowledge of supply chain processes. You will be tasked with improving operational efficiencies and managing logistics activities to meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and enhance logistics strategies to meet client needs.
• Conduct supply chain forecasting and demand planning.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in logistics operations.
• Identify risks within the logistics network and propose mitigation strategies.
• Utilize logistics software to track shipments and inventory.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on logistics performance.
• Assist in managing logistics budgets and costs.
• Develop training programs for logistics staff.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis Tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with import/export regulations: Knowledge of customs processes and regulations for logistics.
