Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering and be passionate about sustainability. You will be responsible for designing projects that minimize environmental impact and improve ecological health.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental audits and assessments for client projects.
• Design and implement waste management strategies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on project deliverables.
• Prepare environmental compliance documentation.
• Analyze environmental data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Promote public awareness campaigns on environmental issues.
• Participate in conferences and seminars to share knowledge.
• Monitor and report on project performance metrics.
• Facilitate workshops on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
