We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine inspections and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Execute troubleshooting procedures for mechanical failures.
• Contribute to project planning and execution for machinery upgrades.
• Ensure that all equipment meets operational and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools for repairs.
• Foster a team-oriented environment to achieve optimal results.
• Assist with budgeting and cost management for maintenance projects.

Requirements

Education

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or relevant certification

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical maintenance

Certifications

• Certified Mechanical Technician (CMT)
