Job Description

We're seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Cape Town office. This role involves conducting financial analysis, managing client relationships, and executing transactions. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of financial modeling and investment analysis, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Prepare detailed documentation for transactions and client engagements.
• Oversee the execution of investment transactions and related activities.
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the firm.
• Conduct client market assessments and develop reports on findings.
• Assist in preparing compliance documents and regulatory filings.
• Provide mentorship to interns and junior analysts.
• Continuously enhance technical skills and stay updated with financial regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in investment banking or financial analysis
