Extruding Machine Operator

Job Description

As an Extruding Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce plastic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and a keen eye for quality control.

Responsibilities

• Setup, calibrate, and operate extrusion lines for production runs.
• Ensure raw materials are fed correctly into the extrusion machinery.
• Perform quality control checks at regular intervals during production.
• Document and report production data to supervisors.
• Engage in regular safety training and procedure updates.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff on material requisitions.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues with equipment.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on safety and quality.
• Support other production tasks as needed to maintain workflow.
• Participate in training programs to enhance your skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in a related field is beneficial

Experience

• 2-5 years of practical experience operating extrusion equipment.
