Job Description

We are searching for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to manage our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. You will ensure timely delivery and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction while optimizing our distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to lower costs and enhance service.
• Monitor the performance of logistics partners and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure accurate tracking of shipments and timely updates to customers.
• Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to logistics.
• Support the development of training materials for new logistics staff.
• Continuously evaluate logistics processes and suggest improvements.
• Participate in logistics and inventory planning meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logistics operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
