We are seeking an energetic Architect to contribute to our thriving practice in Cape Town. In this role, you will oversee design projects from conception to completion, focusing on crafting functional, aesthetic spaces that meet client expectations while adhering to sustainability principles.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative building solutions that are aesthetically pleasing and functional.
• Collaborate on master planning and design proposals with the broader team.
• Prepare and present project documents to stakeholders.
• Revise designs based on feedback from clients and team members.
• Conduct feasibility analysis for new project proposals.
• Coordinate with other consultants including builders and specialists.
• Assist in graphic presentations and marketing material for the firm.
• Stay current on architectural trends and integrate advanced technology into designs.
• Ensure the incorporation of features supporting energy efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Architecture or Construction Management
• Master’s in Architecture highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in architecture projects

Technical Skills

• Design Software

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with urban planning: Background in working with municipal planning codes and regulations.
