Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead our projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the engineering sector, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and design phases of engineering projects.
• Coordinate team efforts to meet project milestones.
• Engage with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze project data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and interns.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions.
• Review and approve technical designs and specifications.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project engineering

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
