We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our passionate team at Durban Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in small animal medicine, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality veterinary care. You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of patients, while building strong relationships with clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Assess animal health and diagnose health problems.
• Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering.
• Educate pet owners on preventative care and treatments.
• Collaborate with team members to improve practice efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary laws and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and trends.
• Attend and participate in veterinary conferences and workshops.
• Advocate for animal welfare and responsible ownership.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Post-graduate qualification in veterinary science is an advantage

Experience

• Experience working in a high-volume clinic or emergency environment is preferred
