Job Description

Looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to the design and execution of infrastructure projects in Port Elizabeth. This role demands a proactive approach, with a focus on innovative solutions and project leadership to ensure successful delivery within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather relevant data.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to achieve project success.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Ensure compliance with South African engineering regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Evaluate construction methods and materials for efficiency.
• Participate in risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout project life cycles.
• Document project progress and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering related to land development and infrastructure

Languages
