Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Cushion Filler to join our production team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for filling cushions with various stuffing materials, ensuring quality and consistency in every product. Ideal candidates should have excellent attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill cushions and pillows according to set industry standards.
• Ensure all final products meet strict quality control standards.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices when operating machinery.
• Assist in the setup of filling machines and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production needs.
• Maintain an efficient workflow whilst adhering to deadlines.
• Conduct routine equipment checks for optimal performance.
• Provide feedback to supervisors for process improvements.
• Engage in continuous learning about new materials and techniques.
• Support the team in achieving production targets and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or textile environment is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
