Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in our facility. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and administer medications, among other essential nursing duties. Your compassionate approach will ensure that patients and their families feel supported and cared for during their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health conditions and report changes to the physician.
• Assist in developing care objectives and evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform wound care and management as per protocols.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff.
• Administer IV therapies and injections as prescribed.
• Participate in patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the nursing team.

Advantageous

• Certification in Trauma Nursing: Specialised training for managing trauma cases in a medical setting.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is a plus.
