Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and development. Your role will involve working on a variety of projects, from concept to execution, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from conception through to production.
• Utilize CAD software to produce engineering drawings.
• Analyze system performance and suggest improvements.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Prepare and present technical proposals to clients.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Higher diploma or certifications in relevant engineering fields are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
