Job Description

As a Wafer Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that produce wafers utilized in the food industry. Adherence to safety standards and production schedules is critical in ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Operate wafer fabrication equipment and conduct quality inspections.
• Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Document production processes and any incidents encountered.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss process improvements.
• Assist in training sessions for junior operators.
• Perform troubleshooting for machine malfunctions.
• Maintain effective communication with the Production Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Formal technical training preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Languages

• English: Fluent
