Job Description

As a Personal Care Aide, you will support patients with daily activities, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. This role demands compassion, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist patients in their daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care to patients in their homes or healthcare facilities.
• Keep comprehensive records of care provided and daily health observations.
• Assist patients in mobility, aiding them with moving and transferring.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in patient care areas.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety for patients.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly or individuals with disabilities.

• Xhosa: Basic
