Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Veterinary Care Hub, you'll play a key role in animal healthcare, performing surgeries and consultations. We seek an individual who is driven, compassionate, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our animal patients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough exams and provide diagnoses for various animal ailments.
  • Perform surgeries, including spaying, neutering, and other procedures.
  • Consult with pet owners about healthcare plans, treatment options, and dietary recommendations.
  • Deliver emergency care as needed to stabilize critically ill animals.
  • Advocate for animal welfare through community education programs.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians for patient management.
  • Educate clients on preventive care and proper animal husbandry practices.
  • Document treatment regimens and patient interactions.
  • Manage medication inventories and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Additional certifications in specialty areas are advantageous.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice
