We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing sustainable practices. You will work closely with clients to provide innovative environmental solutions that reduce carbon footprints and enhance sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental project planning and execution from inception to completion.
• Analyze and interpret environmental data for decision-making.
• Develop innovative solutions to reduce environmental impacts.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and clients on environmental practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for sustainability improvements within projects.
• Assist in preparing grant applications and funding proposals.
• Lead environmental awareness initiatives within the company and community.
• Ensure that all environmental projects align with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related fields

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
