Responsibilities

• Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose illnesses.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments.
• Provide surgical assistance and aftercare.
• Educate clients on care and treatment options.
• Participate in community outreach programs for animal welfare.
• Keep abreast of developments in the veterinary field.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and their pets.
• Work collaboratively with staff members in various capacities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
