Join our dynamic accounting team as an Accountant in Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and gain valuable experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial reporting cycle including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure tax compliance and timely filing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis and reporting.
• Prepare management reports as needed.
• Assist with internal controls and process improvements.
• Participate in strategic financial planning.
• Contribute to team meetings and align on financial goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounting
• Qualified CA(SA) is a significant advantage

Experience

• 4+ years in accounting roles with increasing responsibility

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge

Certifications

• CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with IFRS: Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems: Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning software.
