Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will provide high-quality healthcare services to patients in our Cape Town facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent patient interaction skills, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care across various health settings.
• Assist in training and supervision of junior nursing staff.
• Engage in patient advocacy and support efforts.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Report and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Provide support in emergency situations as required.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Nursing or equivalent
• Certification in Family Practice or Pediatrics is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in nursing with prior NP experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Patient Management
• Pharmacology

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual communication skills: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans.
• Familiarity with telehealth services: Experience in delivering care through telehealth platforms.
