Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Prepare cost estimates and bids for projects.
• Conduct materials testing and site inspections.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to inform design decisions.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to budget constraints.
• Foster a culture of safety within the engineering team.
• Document project progress and resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Civil Engineering or related field
• Specialization in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in civil engineering sectors

Technical Skills

• GIS Software
• Civil 3D

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Tswana: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drafting and design.
• Understanding of Local Government Regulations: Familiarity with zoning laws and permit processes in South Africa.
