As an Underwriter at Leading Insurance Company in Durban, you will assess risks and decide on the insurability of clients. Your ability to analyze data and provide comprehensive insurance solutions will be crucial to our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and make decisions on coverage.
• Analyze client information and risk factors thoroughly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.
• Provide recommendations for policy adjustments if necessary.
• Document underwriting decisions clearly and accurately.
• Monitor existing policies for changes in risk profiles.
• Collaborate with claims and sales teams to assess risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in underwriting or insurance-related field

• ACII (Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute)
