Responsibilities

• Perform initial psychological evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Establish therapeutic rapport and provide psychoeducation to patients.
• Implement tailored therapeutic techniques to assist patients in coping with challenges.
• Engage in regular supervision and professional consultation sessions.
• Foster relationships with community resources for patients requiring additional support.
• Contribute to program development to enhance service delivery.
• Support the training of intern psychologists and students.
• Advocate for mental health awareness in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
• Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
