Self-Enrichment Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Self-Enrichment Teacher to deliver therapeutic riding lessons to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will develop tailored programs aimed at enhancing clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being through equine therapy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver safe and effective therapeutic riding lessons.
• Monitor and document client progress to inform future sessions.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment for both clients and horses.
• Provide training to volunteers and student interns.
• Assist in evaluating program effectiveness and participate in development activities.
• Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about equine therapy.
• Participate in fundraising initiatives to support local programs.
• Communicate regularly with families about client progress and goals.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Equine Studies or related field

Experience

• Experience in working with clients with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities.
