Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join HealthFirst Clinics in Pretoria. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services for clients with speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for helping others overcome communication barriers and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments for speech and language impairments.
  • Design and implement therapy sessions that are engaging and effective.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Advocate for patients and educate families about speech health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or students in the clinical setting.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in a clinical setting
