Job Description

We are in search of a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud technologies and automation tools, focusing on improving deployment processes and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS or Azure cloud environments effectively.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation.
• Work closely with development teams to enhance application performance.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.
• Ensure the reliability and security of cloud services.
• Respond to system outages and incidents quickly and effectively.
• Participate in architecture discussions for new services.
• Document processes and standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
