As a Tax Consultant at our Stellenbosch office, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and ensuring compliance with South African tax laws. You will collaborate with clients to develop strategies that minimize tax liabilities while maximizing their financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax legislation and a passion for delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Create tax planning scenarios tailored to individual client needs.
• Represent clients before tax authorities and resolve disputes as necessary.
• Monitor client transactions for potential tax liabilities.
• Implement tax-saving strategies to improve client outcomes.
• Review and analyze financial statements for tax purposes.
• Assist clients with estate planning to minimize tax implications.
• Participate in networking events to expand business development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
• Professional accounting or tax qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax consulting role
