Job Description

As a Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in our wood processing operations. You will be responsible for setting up and operating sawing machines to ensure that high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely. You will monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the sawing machine to ensure quality cuts.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize output.
• Inspect raw materials prior to processing for defects.
• Carry out maintenance checks according to schedule.
• Enforce safety regulations and protocols in the workspace.
• Document production metrics and machine operational data.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment handling.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification related to machinery operation is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a wood processing or manufacturing environment.
