Job Description

We are looking for a pharmacist in Port Elizabeth to enhance our patient care services. You will be responsible for medication management, patient education, and teamwork with healthcare professionals to promote safe and effective medication use. Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze patient medication regimens for effectiveness.
  • Prepare and label medications proactively for outpatient and inpatient use.
  • Manage and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
  • Contribute to patient care rounds in collaboration with medical teams.
  • Evaluate the quality of pharmacy services and implement improvements.
  • Foster a positive work environment and teamwork culture.
  • Participate in community outreach programs promoting wellness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Additional certifications in specialized therapies is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years in retail or clinical pharmacy setting
