Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Manager in Pretoria who will lead our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, strong leadership skills, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy quality assurance initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient medication adherence.
• Monitor and evaluate pharmacy services for continuous improvement.
• Act as a liaison between pharmacy and other departments to improve collaboration.
• Conduct regular medication audits and ensure compliance with policies.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability within the pharmacy team.
• Document and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
• Facilitate training sessions for pharmacy personnel on new policies.
• Ensure that pharmacy facilities meet safety and hygiene standards.
• Advocate for pharmacy services and educate stakeholders on their importance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field is preferred

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
