Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pharmacy Plus in Pretoria. In this role, you will assist with medication preparation, manage inventory, and provide outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications and ensure accurate dosing and packaging.
  • Assist in the management of pharmacy inventory and expiration dates.
  • Address patient questions regarding medications and health advice.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance pharmacy operations.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in continuing education to improve professional knowledge.
  • Support the health promotion and disease prevention activities of the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate in Pharmacy Assistance
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in a pharmacy setting
