Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health examinations for various animals.
• Execute surgical procedures safely and efficiently.
• Assess and diagnose conditions effectively.
• Prescribe medications and perform follow-up care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care protocols.
• Stay updated with veterinary technology and practices.
• Coordinate with other staff for effective treatment delivery.
• Maintain thorough documentation of animal treatments.
• Engage with the community in animal health education.
• Act swiftly and effectively in emergency medical situations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) Certification
• Certification in Advanced Animal Surgery
