Job Description

Join our dedicated pharmacy team as a Pharmacist in Durban. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care, counselling patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate dispensing of medications and provide comprehensive patient education.
  • Review and analyse medication orders for potential drug interactions and allergies.
  • Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and recommend medication adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all pharmaceutical interventions.
  • Be an integral part of the healthcare team, attending meetings and contributing to patient care strategies.
  • Implement pharmacy protocols and participate in quality assurance measures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council is essential
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
