Receiver Dispatcher

Job Description

We are searching for a Receiver Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement and delivery of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in dispatch operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods while ensuring all documentation is correctly filled.
• Organise products for timely dispatch.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Record and track inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Actively participate in resolving logistical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Liaise with departments to maximise operational efficiency.
• Assist in training new staff on dispatch protocols.
• Provide regular updates to management on inventory levels and dispatch activities.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Prior experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.

Technical Skills

• GPS Tracking Software
• Electronic Signature Systems

• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Forklift Certification: An added advantage if you possess a forklift certification to assist in loading goods.
• Experience with Health and Safety Regulations: Understanding of safety protocols in handling goods.
